- Review Creation Justice related petitions and resolutions to be prepared to speak in favor of these proposals with your fellow delegates, in committees and on the floor of General Conference.

If you are able to be in Charlotte, NC during April 22–May 3, 2024
Whether you are a delegate or not, you can help support Creation Justice at General Conference by coming to Charlotte, NC during the session even for a few days.
- VOLUNTEER: Sign up to volunteer at General Conference through the Love Your Neighbor Coalition. You can offer to help wherever needed, or indicate in the notes a particular interest in supporting Creation Justice. There will be opportunities to observe legislation in committees, greet delegates, provide hospitality for international delegates, support Creation Justice events, staff exhibit tables and more. And contact us at umcreationjustice@gmail.com to let us know you will be coming.
- EARTH DAY WORSHIP: Plan to attend the April 22 Earth Day Worship Service and the meal being offered before hand. The day before General Conference begins just happens to be Earth Day so we are planning a special evening worship service at 7:00 pm ET to be held live in Charlotte and streamed online everywhere else. Use the link provided to register for the meal and the worship service.

You can support Creation Justice through General Conference from wherever you are.
- PRAY: Pray for your delegates and all the delegates convening from around the world. This Holy Conferencing will be a momentous time in The United Methodist Church and prayers are needed.
- WORSHIP: Join us in person or online on April 22, 2024 at 7 pm ET for an Earth Day worship service.
- HOLD AN EARTH DAY WATCH PARTY: We have created a ToolKit to help green teams participate in the Earth Day service on April 22 from any location.
- DONATE: Support the work of the The UM Creation Justice Movement and all of our activities at General Conference with a financial donation.
- LEARN: Educate yourself on the issues before this General Conference.
- Review updates shared in UMCJM newsletters, FFUMC posts and through the Love Your Neighbor Coalition.
- Attend the Movement Cafe on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1 ET for updates and conversation. Or watch the recordings. March 20, April 5 and April 17 Cafes were all focused on General Conference plans.

- ADVOCATE: Share Creation Justice related petitions and resolutions with your annual conference delegation and why they are important to you.
- Find out who will represent your conference in the updated Daily Christian Advocate. A list of delegates by conference is on page 84. If you don’t know anyone in your delegation personally, ask others in your conference or contact your conference office to find out how to connect with them.
- Be respectful of their time as they will be very busy in the coming weeks attending briefings and preparing for their committee assignments. Here are links to emails that other people have sent to their delegations to get you started.
- SPEAK OUT: Say Something! Share with us your passion for Creation Justice and we’ll use your words in our communications and actions at General Conference.
