Young African Leadership Development (YALD) is an international organization which undertakes activities with young African people to encourage the spirit of cooperation , development and mutuality assistance in the society. Founded in 2018 by young United Methodist leaders from Africa, YALD is a biblically based program that has expanded to 19 countries.
The Young African Leadership Development is a youth organization that had its birth in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It has however got its subsidiary Leadership scattered around Africa, in DRC, Cameroun, Congo Brazzaville, Zimbabwe, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Mozambique, Angola, Rwanda, Tanzania, Namibia, SouthAfrica, Uganda, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, Ivory Coast.
