Prayer of invocation:
Divine One, God of All and Bringer of Life, your Earth is a wonder of crystal water, pine forests, and wind-swept plains. In a moment I will mark my ballot. Grant me a heart of faith and discernment as I participate in this public process of voting. Let the light rise within me. Amen.
Delivering your Ballot.
Prayer at the ballot box:
Creator, Deliverer, Light of lights. As I post/submit my ballot, let there be hope! Bless this ballot and the ballots of my neighbors. Let our choices rise with justice, kindness, and peace. Let us bring joy to this nation. Let our neighborhoods, our families, and the whole community of creation be blessed. In this public space, in this public act, let my ballot and my faithful citizenship be a mark of hope. For I am rooted in the good of this Earth and the love of God. Amen.

A Voting Litany For the Faithful:
Creator, Life-Giver, Almighty God, we are a people rooted in faith. We are a people of your abiding love, from the deepest tree roots to the highest mountains,
We are a people of this good Earth.
God of the mountains and the prairies, in every direction you are there. The Earth under our feet is holy ground. Whether we stand on grass, or beach sand, or wind-swept rock,
We are a people of these soils and this good Earth.
Sanctuary-God, Creator of forests filled with life, we gather in your sanctuaries and the light always shines through, whether through a forested canopy, or from the crest of the sky, or through the many colored panels of stained-glass.
We are a people of faith.
Amazing God, we gather today on the occasion of a national election. We call to you: Where there is rancor, let there be peace; where there is harm, let there be restoration; where there is uncertainty, let there be hope.
We are a people of peace, restoration, and hope.
God of justice, we on this Earth are nourished by soils, fruits, sunlight, and clean water. We are caretakers in our turn, generation after generation, to safeguard each other and the divine abundance for everlasting multitudes, including birds, and fish, and all living things.
We are caretakers of the abundance of life.
God of the many, we are members of human communities. We are all ages, all occupations, all incomes, all languages, all genders, with a multitude of ancestry. We participate together in a public process of voting.
We are citizens in our towns, states, and nations.
God of Blessing, we participate in elections through registering to vote, filling out our ballots, and submitting our ballots in booths and collection boxes. As we participate in this public voting process, let us raise up light so high and so bright that all will be lit with hope.
For we are a people of faith, a people of justice, a people of peace, and a people of hope.
In the name of the One who is the Creator, the Almighty, and the Deliverer, for this time and all time,
