Are you thinking about having a Creation Care Sunday (a.k.a., “Festival of God’s Creation,” as it’s called in the Book of Discipline) soon? We in Elma (NY) UMC try to have one every year. In 2025, we structured that morning around the theme of “God’s Precious Gift of Water.” Events included a worship service, Adults’ and Children’s Disciple Hour classes, and a “Meatless Fellowship Meal.” If a Creation Care Sunday like that is right for your congregation, then you could adapt these resources to your local context.
