As we enter May, new possibilities and visions for our movement are being planted and nurtured. This newsletter shares the exciting news announced on Earth Day that a group of 11 United Methodist agencies have committed to reaching net-zero emissions by 2050 through efforts centered in equity. Much like the church gardens also featured below, the seeds that are planted with this commitment open up new possibilities AND will require work by many to bring them to fruition. As Jesus is quoted in Matthew 9:37, “the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” Thankfully there are resources, training opportunities, and inspiring stories in abundance in this newsletter and across our growing movement to help all of us find our own path to healing our relationship with God’s Good Creation. Please join us in the garden!
