March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, so the common proverb goes. It is a proverb built as many proverbs are, around the natural cycles of things. It is a proverb that resonates for the church calendar this year, also, as Palm Sunday and Passion Week bring the Lamb into Jerusalem in readiness for Easter.
