With the worsening heat and smoke of climate change, more churches are experiencing disruption of their worship activities and community ministries. The question is, as always for thousands of years, how do people of faith respond? How do they continue to raise joy, worship God, and serve their communities? Churches across the denomination are doing just that, reworking ministry to respond to challenging circumstances with transformational results. That transformation often comes under the umbrella of resilience.
